Two neighboring houses with their Southern porch charm became the stage for a crew of ragtag college musicians, running between houses and through porch screen doors to sing, strum, and swap soundtracks late into the night. It was there that the founders realized: being part of the music community is one of life’s greatest privileges. Thus, Screen Door was born—a space for that same community to connect, collaborate, and grow within the industry.

Though Anabel and Price have moved on from their days as next-door neighbors, their philosophy remains the same: every part of music, from production to performance, should be built on personal relationships and genuine collaboration.

In other words, it should feel a bit nostalgic, making it as simple, comfortable, and fun as jamming on a familiar friend’s porch. Today, Screen Door honors those roots and works hard to bring that very same feeling to music teams across the country.

Anabel’s background in the booking industry and time spent working with Capricorn Studios have provided her with a strong understanding of how artists, venues, and creative professionals collaborate. Paired with her experience in marketing, this has cultivated a keen eye for identifying talent and understanding how individuals contribute to a brand or creative vision.

Price’s lifelong exposure to the staffing world gave him an early understanding of the power of the right professional match. His background in Management Information Systems allows him to approach recruiting with both analytical thinking and an eye for effective organizational fit. He also brings strong ties within the music community through close friends working across the industry, along with his own experience playing in a band, giving him an authentic perspective on the creative process.
